What Grants Will be Available for Festival and Events During the Coming Year

Organizations like the Washington State Arts Commission (ArtsWa) and the Washington State Department of Commerce have made grant funds available during the last couple of years. Learn what grants that you can apply for during the coming months, as several organizations want to still help the festival and events industry.

Best Practices for Facing Security and Other Adverse Impacts to Events

Recently there was a mass-shooting at a concert in Washington, leaving two dead and three wounded.


This was followed by severe weather at a concert in Colorado, injuring 90 attendees. Attendees want to feel safe when attending any festival or event. Keeping participants safe is forefront for event producers.


Frank will discuss best practices for facing security and other adverse impacts to an event.
