Event Safety and Security: Planning for and Managing the Unexpected at Your Event

This session will examine and guide the event organizer on the best practices and contingencies encountered to provide for an expected level of safety and security at an event. Led by the state’s expert on event safety, this session will also cover Active Shooter Preparedness and crowd management training.

Funding Opportunities Available for Festival and Event Organizers

Learn about future grants from the state’s leading expert on grants for festivals and events. We will cover funding opportunities from the Washington State Arts Commission, State of Washington Tourism and other funding sources for events of all sizes.
